After working in family medicine for 12 years as a medical assistant, I saw a great need for massage therapy as an addition to traditional medicine.  This was a very large practice that saw about 300 patients a day. About  30 percent of those patients were there for migraines, back, shoulder and neck pain.  

Massage therapy greatly reduces the need for pain medication.

I have experience with being the massage therapist on site at several professional tennis tournaments held in the United States.
